Conversione di Soldatini Matchbox 1:76

King's African Rifles, 1914–1918, Conversione di Soldatini Matchbox 1:76

A Lieutenant of the King's African Rifles (KAR) leads the 1st Section of his fanteria platoon in a TSATF colonial wargame. The men in the first due ranks are Matchbox fanti giapponesi con havelock cap covers, painted straight from the box, the others have had the elmetto d'acciaio giapponese carved into a fez. The Lieutenant commanding this section is un ufficiale giapponese di Matchbox con a new head taken from an American Civil War fante wearing a slouch hat. All of the soldatini have been speed-painted by dipping the khaki-coloured plastic soldatini in polyurethane varnish tinted con ivory black artist oil colours. The pigmented varnish naturally accumulates in the folds of the miniature's clothes, shading these areas. Only the boots, ammunition pouches, weapons, hands e faces were painted prior to dipping.

Tre of the kneeling riflemen sono fanti giapponesi di Matchbox con havelock cap covers, the others have had the elmetto d'acciaio converted into a fez. This section is commanded by the platoon sergeant, un fante della fanteria colonial britannica di ESCI in scala 1:72.

Gruppo mitragliatrice dei King's African Rifles

Una sezione mitragliatrice dei King's African Rifles (KAR). The tre mitraglieri have had the elmetto d'acciaio giapponese carved into a fez. The Corporal commanding the section is un soldatini della fanteria colonial britannica di ESCI in scala 1:72. The conversion would be more convincing, if the mitragliatrice Nambu giapponese had been replaced con ana mitragliatrice Vickers taken from EMHAR's Artiglieria Britannica della Prima Guerra Mondiale.
