Recensione dei Figurini Italeri in Scala 1:72

Italeri’s Cavalieri Teutonici are beautifully sculpted, e they will look very impressive when painted. The variety of mounted poses is excellent, but the box contains no foot troops o light horse which would be needed to raise a complete ordine teutonico army for miniature wargames. These soldatini may be converted to serve as other cavalieri of the period, although the superimposed crosses ed emblems can be difficult to remove from shields, tunics, e horse trappings.

Valutazione

• Armour plate, elmi, shields, ed altri oggetti dell’equipaggiamento personale are historically accurate e very detailed.
• The heraldic emblems are superimposed to facilitate painting.
• Flags e lance pennons for Italeri’s Cavalieri Teutonici may be downloaded from our Miniatures Forum.

• Noticeable flash along mould lines needs to be removed prudentamente prima di dipingere.
• The chainmail armour on most of the soldatini shows very little texture, ed it will be completely obscured if the cavalieri are painted. Drybrush the soldatini to highlight sections of chainmail e create the impression of texture.
• The due lances in this set are much too short, they should measure 50 mm. Replace them con lances made from piano wire.
• The soldatini can be difficult to convert, because heraldic emblems are superimposed on tunics, shields, e horse trappings.
• Tre of the quattro horse poses are sculpted in an unnatural gait. One wonders why figure sculptors do not study horses more, ed allow themselves be inspired by the superb horse poses of several Revell cavalleria sets.

The Cavalieri Teutonici are an excellent figure set, well worth the money. It is hoped that Italeri will release spearmen, crossbowmen ed other ordine teutonico foot troops to accompany the Cavalieri Teutonici into battle.
