Bicorno
Bicorno, a two-cornered hat popularized by Napoleon. It could be worn fore ed aft, facing diagonally, or sideways. The bicorno replaced the older tricorno as military headdress for officers around 1790, e remained in service until the beginning of the 20th century. The bicorno for other ranks was superceded by the more practical shakò e cavalry helmet.
